RRHC inspires and facilitates collaboration by agencies and providers, convening active experts to help set community priorities, identifying root causes of health concerns through surveys, and fostering a culture of health awareness for our region to address health plans and priorities.
Objectives
- Support our healthcare systems and other community stakeholders in strategic planning, decision-making and fund development.
- Using the results from the Healthy Community Study, review and refine Rockford Regional Health Council priorities, in collaboration with a broad-based group of community stakeholders.
Accomplishments
The 2020 Healthy Community Study is nearing completion – several documents have already been released, with more to come. We are currently in the process of identifying key findings and common themes from the Study, which will be used for discussion of updated Community Health Priorities.
